MEET THOMAS ELSON

Thomas is a talented photographer and one half of the family photography team, Elson’s Photography, that he shares with his soon-to-be bride Nora. When Thomas first reached out to me to let me know how much he loved the Twisted Presets, I was blown away by his work. Editing aside, the creativity and artistry in his photos drew me in immediately and the tones in his editing were exactly what I love to see in the work of those who use the presets.

While I can see the tones that I spent years fine tuning and getting to the point where they not only offer consistency but also the ability to easily make them a starting point of creating a unique look. That is what I quickly noticed from Thomas’s work. An easy to see artistry with the addition of consistent editing that had the Twisted Preset tones tweaked to a certain precision to fit his own style and look.

I hope that you enjoy Thomas’s work as much as I do, especially since he provided us with some before/after images that I could put in the gallery below.

“There is a lot of art in the world right now. It's in music, in cinema and in photography but only some of them are good. The same way about presets - millions of them, but only some do the job and yours are one them. They bring life and some specific look what is between in a digital and filmic world. They are not for everyone but for photographers who care more about quality than quantity. Somehow they pop out that something that nails your view into the pictures. I have looked at that missing piece of the puzzle for my editing style and I have wound it.”
